Is smite still worth getting?

Hi everyone, im just wondering if it is still worth it to get smite for pking because now there are high risk worlds were everything is risked anyway... so what would the purpose of smite be?

Sorry i havent pked in years and am just wondering because i know pking has changed alot

 

If you weren't able to use Turmoil on the account, I would use Smite for when you are on +1 worlds.

But, if you have the money/want to do the quests for Turmoil, use Curses instead.


Unless you are talking about on a noob pure where the only reason you are worried about getting Smite is because of the extra Prayer levels, and if that is the case just get Smite, it is worth it for when you want to go +1 (if there are lack of fights, etc on high risk)

 

I'd definitely get it on a pure.

On a main you'll want piety or turmoil anyways, each come with smite/ss.

 

yea i have a pure, but like if im a rusher will i get their best item on a +1 world? i dont get it lol

 

Depends how low their pray is at the time you attack them.

If they are full pray and full HP, and don't eat any food when you start to rush them, no they are not going to have their prayer drop. But if they eat a few food so you can get those extra hits in, yes you will drop their prayer.

 

I suggest getting it on a pure, but not a main.

 

smite only worth it on a pure im 80 atk 99 str and i smite so many people out

Worth it, on pures vs other pures you make nice combo's and with smite on their prayer will drop in no-time and then it's gf claws, ags or whip.

It is worth. Simple, you know who you meet.

 

Definitely still worth getting, although, as stated here, it's poor compared to Turm + SS.
