Skype keeps telling me my accounts password/details are wrong

This past week i have lost access to 3 of my skypes

Connorpsythe: Was logged in and skype crashed tried to relog told me credentials were wrong.

Made Connorsythe: Same as above happened.

Today i created a microsoft account making live: tag in front of my skype to see if anything else would change. Within 12 hrs same thing happened crashed and logged out says info is wrong. I changed the password correctly and yet still won't let me log into my microsoft account via skype.

I don't know how to fix this seems my accounts keep getting locked anyone else experience a similar problem before?

 

Yeah, this happened to like five of us maybe six months ago. There are some threads about it somewhere, sorry, not gonna find them atm. The best way to handle it is to contact skype directly and ask for access to your accounts back. The process took me about a week, but I think others were done with it much quicker. Apparently, mine got locked for impersonating myself... I made a temp account while my old one was banned and they wouldn't unlock my old one because I made a new one with a similar name

 

It could be that you have malware roaming around such as a rat or keylogger...someone may have alot of your passwords, you used old passwords...
Try making a password like:
A23bJ-kJKh32
Or something include symbols, numbers, and capital letters

 

I was also going to suggest that it may be a keylogger, if it was something with Skype they wouldn't say invalid login crap right? I would say your account is locked.

 

I've already ran malwarebytes nothing shows up pretty sure i dont have a keylogger considering i have 1k+ on steam in keys.

 

Also try updating your skype, older versions of skype seem to have self destructed low key. I had issues logging in on an older version of skype.

 

Hi, I'm on about my 20th skype, last they told me I was being mass reported, likely by competitors, and after 2 months of trying with skype support I gave up, and use throwaway skypes now.

Update antivirus software regularly and unload the skype and then download one again.Or contact skype

 

Has nothing to do with a virus.

This is right. People create similar profiles to yours or just complain that you're impersonating them or whatever to get skype to ban you and harm your business. See my above post about dealing with it.

 

again another account got deleted lol...it always logs me out says log in again then tells me user credentials are wrong when they are not.
