Chaotic maul/staff?

Just got 200K tokens again, should I get a maul or staff? I would use both a lot being a pure, maul for pking and clan wars and staff for rock lobs and clan wars.

I'm not really sure which one to get so give me your opinions.

 

I have CLS/Rapier/Staff, and I can safely say the staff rapes if you also decide to get an Arcane Stream. The Maul I do not have, so I can't say anything.

Staff does, indeed, rape. It probably also makes you more useable with your clan.

 

I have stream, ccb and rapier already. Was thinking of staff but I do use sol often.

 

maul vrs an oppenent with 1 defence also rapes.

 

Even maul vs 99 Def rapes LOL

I think staff has stats comparable to the D Scim if I remember correctly...That's a pretty kick ass magic staff.

But, I've never used C Staff, only maul (out of those 2).

Comes down to if you like magic more then melee, or vice-versa. I have both, must say since I don't pvp that often anymore that I use maul alot.

 

Id say staff for main, and maul for pure

 

Maul is brilliant in my opinion.

Against water fiends, it simply owns. Has amazing crush bonuses. For pking, can hit a deadly blow.

Don't know anything about a staff, but I would go for maul.
