Is powerleveling still safe?

I used to hire a ton of powerleveling services on here. There are multiple posts about bans from that lately. Are they focusing on powerleveling now instead of just macroing and RWT?

 

It's safe. Jagex do have False Detections though, which is around 1% for us. But overall it's very safe. After appealing a ban it's usually quashed anyway. I would say it's simply scare tactics and some people are falling for it and others can see through the ficade.

 

Services are safe. We have never had a customer banned but there is false detection but it's rare my friend.

Pretty Safe. Used tons on my Ironman and nothing happend in the disc Im in

 

pretty safe, my friend got 2 bans for that and both quashed so just appeal incase u get banned.

 

Were they pretty big services that got banned?

From my experience, it's Jagex calling Bluff and causing people to panic and rethink buying services.

Although this is just my words, I would always play it safe by using trusted service providers that take all measures possible to protect their customers such as using a VPN, etc.

 

Low ban rates. However this rule regarding the sale of PVM services was recently introduced meaning that you are more likely to get hit with a ban if they are actively seeking out more rule-breakers.

 

Think it depends on the service provider tbh and there IP.

 

Yeah, I've never even seem a power leveling ban. What's even the title for the ban? I didn't know they banned people for buying power leveling services, how do they detect that lol.

 

A new IP constantly logging in and doing one continuous activity, then logging off and it returning to the previous (owners) IP address. This along with the passwords changing for the duration of the service, as it will line up with the suspicious IP behaviour.

The bans are for 'RWT Major' currently. I've not seen a ton of these, but as of recently I know of at least three (all on ironmen). As mentioned above, a lot of these situations get handled privately by the providers, for obvious reasons.

 

Oh so they're cracking down on it. I've noticed in the botting community a lot of people getting hit with RWT bans on their gold farming accounts so they can't appeal. Makes sense.

I never had issues with multiple accounts and powerleveling before. It’s just since I’ve been back that a lot of people have been mentioning it.

Also, I noticed that all the powerleveling discords that I’ve joined have notes in their rules saying they aren’t responsible for any bans. If you get banned because of the service provider, can’t they just tell you to go screw yourself?
