Is OpenOSRS safe?

Dunno if this have been already asked, but is it safe to use this client?

 

In terms of security, it should be safe. As for bans, that's another thing. In my experience though, I've used probably a good number of shady clients in the past and I never got banned.

 

The current OpenOSRS is compliant with Jagex's rules. If you were to download it now, you won't find any OP plugins as you'll have to add those yourselves via a github repository. As for the ban rate on the OP Plugins, there has been zero evidence to suggest that Jagex can detect those plugins, nor have there been any bans related to said plugins, but like everything use at your own risk. As for it being safe, Runelite nor OpenOSRS have any financial incentive to one day not scam, they're both free.
