Is my system too hot?

Well, I ordered this 8600gt and it's everything I hoped for it to be. Now, I am just wondering if my systems temperature is good. These temperatures are from NVIDIA nTune

While idle
GPU= 54 celsius (129 fahrenheit)

While playing games
GPU= 65-80 celsius

Also, if these temps are too high, is there a program that can let me change my fan speeds? (Besides Motherboard Monitor, it kept my comp fans speed at 100% and it sounded like a helicopter)

Yes, infact, I'm drowning in sweat from my computer seat. You need to get a cooling unit otherwise you will fry your new system very fast.

Yeah, he told me it's too hot. So I guess new comp not so good? Maybe return it

Much to hot. Get a better cooling setup. Heatsink, Fans, get rid off dust, etc...

Hm.. first off, I'm not sure if it really is too hot, as my 8800 GTX is running at 80-85 C under load(I know for a fact that the 8800 GTX starts to crash/burn at around 130 C), also there's an option in nTune where you can change the fan speeds.

I have read that 80 C is normal for most systems with high-end graphics cards.

Not an issue.

If you want it to run cooler, download Riva-Tuner and manually set the graphics cards fan speed (assuming it hasn't got passive cooling). Those fans can cool it off quick, but they are really loud, being why they don't turn up very high unless the temp exceeds what the manufacturer has decided is damaging.
