is my account safe

I think my friend knows the previous recovery questions to my account, but not other details like earliest passwords. People told me that there is a slight chance that this information is sufficient for my friend to hack the account, but is it unlikely? Should I stop worrying about it so much, or is this serious?

 

It wont be enough to recover the account.

Make sure to put membership "codes" on the account to strenthen your chance of recovering (keep the codes).

Also remove or change the recoveries he knows.

You could Also try reseting all Info, you can do so by the runescape forums, not needed but if your condernd enough do so.

ok thank you very much. one last question was, I used these previous recovery questions that I suspect my friend of knowing to just recover my account with "I forgot my password" along with my earliest passwords and it worked, even though I had new recoveries set. why would this be?

 

i mean I still believe you that its unlikely to be hacked because he doesnt know my earliest passwords, but my previous recovery questions worked regardless of my new recovery questions.

 

Because you have the Passwords, Its very Unlikley, Like I Suggested befor if you want you can always resetn prevous Info.

It may be possible for him to recovery it, but you can definetely recover it if you submit an appeal from the IP that was used to create the account. So as suggested above, just apply a bank pin.
