It just gives the false sense that you're trusted in most cases when a newcomer with 0 vouches puts [$100 donator] in their title. Realisitcly donating really doesn't make you anymore trusted.

Well if you think about it donating $100, people have some trust in you that you wont scam anything under $100, makes sense?

 

If someone donates 100$, then they're much less likely to scam since they donated so much. Why waste 100$ for a small scam. I would say you're more trusted with a 100$ Donor rank.

 

You already know the benefits of donating, why do you need someone to answer it for you?

Do you want to support the growth of the site? Do you want the perks?

Would you rather support the site + get the perks or have $50 in your hand. Obviously up to you.

You know the pros and cons. You can make your own desicion. In my opinion it's ofbiously not worth the perks. The perk is a click on a button. You donate to Sythe to support Sythe. Not to get a perk.

 

It's not that. Some people just assume that if they join Sythe and donate $100 but have like 0 vouches they're as trusted as someone who's actually reputable with numerous vouches who's been on Sythe for a couple of years. There's been a few cases of people donating to portray themselves as trusted then scamming and leaving. Since most people are donating via PayPal they can just chargeback the payments via their CC Company. I'm not saying that's it's true in all cases but it's a high possibility.

 

I know what you're saying and it's true but there are people here with the only intention of scamming. They donate like $50 or $100 and try to earn some vouches then scam enough to cover their donation. They can then proceed to Chargeback their donation via PayPal as I'm sure that's the only donation method that they'd use.

I donate mostly to support sythe as I run a service via sythe so really enjoy to keep site up as long as possible

 

Its worth it, money is money, u can always make it back. ull end up looking alot more trusted.
