Is it too late to start wow?

I guess I forgot to mention it depends on your battlegroup. Battleground leveling is only worth it if you have a battlegroup that wins 90% of the time.

Call to arms doesn't give you much experience. And if you lose a battleground game you basically get no experience.

 

I started in beggining of WotLK and i actually did like the experience, but now its just becoming a tedious game, only arenas keeps me going here

 

Nah it's not too late. They make it easier to level up all the time. try RAF as well

Looked to the posts above, well I would start right now if I was you maybe got a good friend who wants to play the game too? You can quest together it's really fun I started at the later Vanilla WoW time with a friend of mine quitted like 3 times but always starting to play again...

And another adventage is when you hit lvl 80 and the expansion will come out, you have some fun levelling with bunch of other guys.. Find a nice guild and the game is still very enjoyable (that's what I think) just on ventrilo with like 5 guys is always a good timewaste.. And last of all when Cataclysm comes out they wont outgear you with some tier 11 or so..

So a fresh start try getting a nice guild, so you can discover the new content and dungeons together while you can get in raids.. else everyone would ignore you because you haven't got the achievement of the dungeon yet..

It's never tolate to start with wow , becuase there is alot of people who starts with new characters most of the time

 

actually its great time to start playing. by the time cata is out u will learn about ur class n game itself. then you will start from same place as anyone else.
also it takes like 2 months to get yourself geared lvl 80 char those days

 

its never too late. infact they have made the game very easy now.

 

right now would be a good time to start before the new expansion pack, you can get to 80 before the expansion and then at 85 it will be an equal playing field

 

Its never too late to start joining in with the fun of Wow.

 

i just started playing wow again and im having a blast, got to 63 in 2 weeks, i used BG's 50-60 and got ther ein like 2 days.

 

Keep in mind battleground experience will differ greatly between the battlegroup and the faction that you play on, it's not guarenteed that you get much exp at all.

 

Actually this is a good time to start WoW.

Besides just questing and dungeoning you can also do BGs for XP.
After hitting 80, you can get gear really fast (and easier then any other time of WoW IMO).

If you get bored of your first chracter, you can level another character faster by getting heirlooms (20% more XP and BiS wep and trinkets, maybe even the ring too which is 5% more XP). Heirlooms make leveling a joke.

I hit 80 on like October 16 09 and I got high end gear in about a month. You can get gear even faster now since heroics give triumph badges.
