Is it safe yet?

Is it safe to use RSbot or Arbibots yet?
Or are they still hacked/infected.. =/

 

I have used powerbot for about a week now and no troubles, so i would say yes it is safe.

 

yeah powerbot is safe, im not sure about rsbuddy though... they've done it once so whats stopping them from doing it again.

 

ARbibots' scripts were never infected. The client was though. 2.25 and you will be alright.

 

I'd never use anything related to Arbibots again, and the lack of security on RSbot for something like that to happen... wouldn't use them either.

I'm never using powerbot again for safety measures.
It's like the BP oil spill.
Ruined their image IMO.

 

Rsbots.net and rsbotting.com are the two I use and always will! most of the coders do not play much runescape themselves so they really have to reason to hack everyone, and there are too many people using them to be able to sift through all the accounts before people started to notice.

I would just invest money in a paid bot from rsbots.net.

For those of you who think they know shit and just ramble on about stuff that is completely untrue, I'll give you guys a hand:

First of all, don't talk shit about powerbots, especially if you don't know what is going on or what happened. Second of all, take a little time and read through these links, the first post is the only important one really:

That should clear some stuff up. I would reccomend staying as FAR away as you can from anything "Aribot" related, and that way your accounts will all be safe. Either that, or stick with paid auths from rsbots.net or any other auth based distribution website.

 

ArbiBots was never infected. Since Arbiter used the SVN instead of the normal .jar download, ArbiBots was completely unaffected by the infection. The only site that was hacked at all was Powerbot, but the infection is now gone.

 

As I stated above, Arbibot's scripts were never infected. Gh0$t infected the RSBOT client, which was fixed in 2.25.

Arbibot's CLIENT+scripts (rsbuddy) were used as a scape goat as Paris (owner of powerbot=rsbot) was pissed off that Arbi was leaving.

 

Its safe, but its always been better to use paid bots.

 

The ridiculous amount of finger pointing is just terrible.

The facts: People were hacked. You guys can argue over hell about WHO infected the client, but clearly, there was a despicable lack of oversight on both parts. I know that I, along with most of the users, are simply too uneducated to figure the details in terms of HOW it was hacked or WHO hacked it.

The lack of responsibility taken by anyone is pathetic. Not even a "SORRY, WE DIDN'T LOOK", more of "IT'S NOT MY FAULT!". Fuck that.
