    Is it recoverable? (Rs3 account)

    Hello,

I recently bought a maxed combat account from a somewhat trusted player. He supplied me with recoveries, billing names, his birthday, phone number, and I also changed the email, activated JAG, and changed the password.

Do you think the account would ever be breached? Should I wait awhile to do anything on it?

I don't know much as far as accounts go, but I do know that an account is at least always recoverable by the original account owner. I'd say that whether or not the account is recovered really depends on the trust of the seller. Changing the email and password, and using authenticator are certainly good moves on your part, but there's always the risk. If the account gets recovered by the seller, you're probably able to report it

No matter what you do an account is always able to be recovered by the original owner at any time. They will accept his recoveries over yours, even if you have all of the correct info

@Iamlegion Please, please, please.... DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT buy a partyhat and put it in a bought account. Not only a partyhat, any big amount of money. EVERY account is recoverable by original owner.

I honestly recommend you buying an account from a staff member, ex-mod, MM if you plan on putting big wealth in it. If not, it'll only be a matter of time before it gets recovered, trust me when I say this.

    Regardless, good luck!

That could happen, yea. All I'm saying is you have a better chance of not getting screwed over if you buy from a highly trusted sythe user such a staff member. Regardless, there's always the possibility of losing it, you are correct.

In any case, make sure to screenshot your wealth every day (showing a time stamp) in case you ever lose it. That way you'll at least have a chance to dispute the wealth the account had, although no guarantee you'll get it.

Always recoverable. Never put a lot of wealth on the account. If you do purchase an account, only purchase from ridiculously trusted sellers (Mods, Staff, OMM) - Even then, I read that it's happened before where an ex OMM took back a bunch of accounts when he quit.

I'd like to add that if you were looking for a high-level account to safely have a lot of wealth on, the quickest way to do so would be to make your own account and buy hand-done (not botted) training services or have tons of time on your hands to do it yourself. Other than what @EditMyThread said, I personally don't see many other options.

This is definitely the best way to build an account. You just have to make sure that none of the powerlevellers use bots.

The only way the account wont be recovered is if the person you bought the account from simply, just died.

funny, dude but I advise you to keep the unhelpful post content to a minimum simply because as per the sythe rules it is considered as spam, which could get you infractions or whatever the hell else. A high post count is cool and all but patience wins out. I just wanted to give you friendly advice/a friendly warning :)
