Is it possible to refund Amazon Giftcards?

I was talking to a Amazon Customer Agent and he/she offered to refund the money to the specific giftcard code. Is this possible? and is this even a thing.

 

If Amazon customer service offers this, then yes, it clearly is in their policy!

 

You read the policy? Can you take a picture of where it says they can refund giftcard credit?

 

It is 100% possible for people to charge them back and you have absolutely no recourse if they do.

My personal experience was with 300$ of them delivered online, when the person cbed them amazon gave me no way of recourse or chance to appeal it

 

Ermm. Do you know if there's a time limit? I think this is especially with physical cards.

erm, What I heard. The amazon customer supports can refund the money back to the giftcard.

 

For what reason, its been brute forced or something? Lol. I mean, an amazon gift card can't be faulty or misleading in anyway.

I remember people on sites like Paxful/LocalBitcoins took Amazon Gift Cards but required pictures + your ID to take PayPal.

 

I was able to say. "I accidently used the giftcard on another account because this account ([email protected]) wasn't working." And the Amazon Customer support said. "bla bla bla…. Do you want me to refund the money?... " I wish I have the Chat Logs to support that. It's true tho.

the chargebacks on the card looked like this on amazon

and to be clear amazon wouldnt tell me exactly why they were taking them back as they said that was private info of the person who gave it to me. So was absolutely no recourse. Also I was pissed as i had asked amazon support if it was possible as well earlier that month and they told me they couldnt be charged back.

 

Did you buy the $100 / $80 amazon GC from a e-gift or physical card sale?
