Is it as good as 5 years ago?

game, yes. players, no.

 

started playing league of legends again like 2-3 weeks ago and im so lost with runes and new champs. game itself is still pretty good but players more toxic than before.

 

na all the new champs r aids but can still be fun for a few games here n there especially with urf/aram

 

I might reinstall it for a few games! But i totally agree that the new champs are absurd. When i left like 8 years ago it was starting to get whacky!

Only thing i cant understand is... HOW IS THE COMMUNITY WORSE? XD It was so bad then as well.

 

i feel like the players have not changed, theres still relatively the same amount of toxicity, i do feel the toxicity level does less'en in higher ranks.
Balance team still kinda ass. Meta is quite different from 5 years ago, mainly for jnugle. many items have changed too.

 

Game is stale. Meta has been stagnant for years now, especially in jungle. For anyone coming back it's ok.

Toxicity is also somehow worse, playing jungle basically requires you to disable chat. Game really isn't worth playing unless you're already invested imo.

 

Very toxic .. gotten worse IMO. Especially with all the constant changes with LCK and greifing even faker had had enough lol

 

Just mute your own team chat and the enemy’s in the options menu before u join a game. Also you can turn off pings or just the sound of it as it bothers you. It makes the game much more enjoyable.

 

just play for fun, dont take it seriously, ignore people that talk shit
