is halo 3 really that good???

Shit... When I got this game, I stayed up for two days straight. The campaign is just a little extra something for halo games. Multiplayer ONLINE is where it's at. And by the way, all you people critisizing the ending to halo 3... The ending was EPIC. I think they nailed it. And oh god, the music, that was fantastic, loved it.

 

I skipped school the day it came out too cause it was a that freakin good why the hell would you even ask this question?

I never really got into Halo. It's a decent game, but not what everyone hypes it up to be. I had 2 and beat it, traded it in. I'm not gonna say I hate the games, because I don't. I just don't understand how people can sit for 6 hours on Xbox live playing it.

Yes, I played 3. My sisters friends little brother has it. And to me, it was just like 1 and 2.

Halo 3 - Its just like Halo 2, just revamped graphics and different levels. Couple of new weapons. Nothing special. And I never really liked Halo 2.

I can't even bother to play my xbox for half an hour, its so dull, Lol.

Ah xbox live, biggest waste of money (apart from the console, IMO LOL, cos all you're paying for is another PC when you look at it.). I got my computer, I got my internet. I play online for free once I've bought the game, and I don't have to pay (No I'm not a WoWnub).

Oh well, some people must like it if it gets such high sales. I'm still scared about the halocaust though

I hate the console controlling system (Except for the Wii). You move the control sticks, but there isn't anywhere near as good controlling as a keyboard and mouse. You don't have the finer detail of control. I set my sensitivity up to max on halo 2, and it takes a decent second to spin around fully. Max sensitivity w/ mouse = spun around 5 times or more in a second. Considering this - I don't have the time to bother getting good at aiming like that.

unless Halo 3 is released on PC, I'm not even going to bother thinking about buying it. Not that I'd buy a 360 either.

funny thing about most FPS games including Halo: you next to never play as a girl. Hmm, Halo, Half-Life, Counter-strike, F.E.A.R., etc. Never have any girl characters (This has nothing to do with my sexuality. I just like looking through a pixellated girls eyes rather than a pixellated man's eyes. Its better for the cutscenes as well.

Yeah i don't think it was that good. My friend just had a party and pretty much we played halo 3 the whole time. So there's some new weapons, levels, and better graphics, but honestly it's not any different than halo 2, pretty much an expansion to halo 2 i would say at least...

I'd have to say Halo is boring as hell when you play by yourself. yeah like what fire cape said, online is really fun. Two player with your annoying little brother or sister or whoever is better then playing on your own.

 

Sorta agree, it is best with more than one person, online is the best, and campaign is better with at least two players. I would have to say that Halo 3 is the best game ever.
