Is Desert Treasure worth it...

So those are my pure's stats. It has 1.5k zeals on it too. I'm debating whether doing Desert Treasure is worth it, 11 prayer would give me two extra combat levels and I'm not doing bad with Polypore, but I feel like Ice Barrage would help a bunch.

Doing Desert Treasure with those stats should not be factored into the response, it really is not hard to do.

 

highly suggest you get 94 magic, then you are ready to do DT.

For sure. Just stay 11 and not 13 if you're really worried.

 

I'd say don't do it and just spend all you zeal to get 99 Strength and the rest on range, then then wreck with your 1 prayer with Granite maul and MSB/polypore. Plus how often would you even barrage on a pure in a normal fight. Not many of them hybrid.

 

It would definitely help you for rushing at your current stats.

Not only would it help for rushing but if you ever decide to hybrid you have Ancients .

Ancients are kind of a requirement for med-high leveled pures if you ask me

 

I would do it.

Sooner or later you would want something other than Polypore and barrage helps a ton with the freeze.

Not to access Morytania, but I'm pretty sure its still a requirement for the quest itself.

 

Barrage will help ÿøū 90% more. I don't have a "pure" only a main, but I hit nearly double with ancients magics

 

If you ever plan on hybridding then I would do dt as one day you will end up getting 52 pray.

 

So the majority so far is saying do it. And also I don't have quite enough zeals for 99 strengh and I'd only get 90 unless I was to stay 50 attack.

 

I guess you should if you're looking to pk/rush

 

Barrage is extremely helpful and a very powerful spell, if you dont get it now your going to end up getting it later. might as well just do it now.

 

Yeah, I recommend that you do it as soon as you can.

 

Anymore, it's pretty much a requirement to have desert treasure, unless you purely pk at edge, even then it's helpful.

DT is always good to do my friend. Polypore does own though.
