Is anyone against cataclysm?

Cataclysm is great in my opinion

 

I really like Cataclysm, I had it for xmas, started a new character. Can't wait to quest in Vashj'ir.

 

If you wanna see WoW in its original state, go play a god damn private server.

WoTLK was an absolute joke.

 

Haha, the BC/Wrath generation is so cute.

And yeah, tanks get shit when the healers suck. I got kicked from a group because the healer couldn't keep me up with three adds CCed, and I was in 333/346 gear.

 

Im not against it.

My reasoning is because Wrath of the lich king was getting far too boring. Killing LK over and over again and getting the loot i already had was pointless. So in my opinion Cataclysm is great I love achievement and mount hunting.

 

yay another self rightous vanilla a-hole. That healer must of been bad indeed but everyone is still on a learning curve sorta.

Wrath was bad but not terrible and i just didn't like how we were tossed into the fray of using slow heals ect. Beta players had an advantage and had time to master the roles somewhat and heroics are not pug friendly at all.

this will only last so long... what happens when you kill cata's end boss over and over

 

I dislike how much time is required to achieve the equivalent to what it would be in WoTLK. Besides that I like everything else, besides the grudge I have against basically the removal of ground mounts.

 

I'm against it because I feel like I've just barely got the hang of the changes in WoTLK , and I haven't even defeated the lich king yet... Now with all the changes, such as flying mounts in Azeroth, all major city portals being removed, etc, it feels like I'm way behind in the game because I can't afford the license for Azeroth flying, much less cold weather.

And why the hell are the goblin characters so damn ugly? I guess looks don't really matter, but it just bothers me. Worgens also bother me. For one, why do you get a human form? Who's ever going to want to switch out of Worgen form unless there's something in a higher level that makes the human form necessary or something... I don't know, I've only gotten to level 15. Still working on my Draenei

On top of all this: ret pallies were nerfed. I can understand why, but god damnit, now I have to relearn how to play them, or else switch to prot/holy

 

It's a cosmetic thing.

They were actually buffed in Cataclysm... a lot. If you can't play ret, play holy. It's not hard.

Well, I didn't play vanilla or TBC but WOTLK and now cata but I quit, I really enjoyed it and worgens were fun as.

So I'm not against Cata.

 

I have to relearn healing as a priest. Embrace the challenge.

 

Agree with everything Verts has said, WOTLK was a complete joke of an expansion. And yeah, original content has been revamped, but you can always check out a pre 4.0 private server (I dont think they have 4.0+ yet anyway)... same shit, just a whole lot easier and more fun questing experience now (not to mention quest objectives are now usually in groups in one area which speeds things up a lot).

 

I hope you guys are happy. Dungeons are being nerfed.

 

Are you? They aren't even hard to being with.

 

Blizzard cares about money more than the satisfaction of GOOD players.

I just hope they don't nerf it to the point of what WotLK was like.

Also, anyone who gets 'Wingslayer' or whatever the title will be this time with a 30% buff doesn't deserve to feel that they 'beat' the expansion.

 

No they are not, they are basically saying man up and learn your class.
