Is Aion a good game

Can somebody even explain to me what Aion is?

 

Aion is alright for what it is. Is it a WOW killer? No. Is it a grind fest? Yes.

But it is a visually appealing game, I just personally didn't care for the gameplay mechanics. No taunt button? Yuck.

 

I tried it out, it seems okay. It's not as good as WoW though.

 

I like it more than wow personally, i like its pvp alot more and its new so noobs are friendly there unlike in wow, no starters, all players are those old fat chinese nolife nerds who wont speak and level up to 80 in 3 days, while im playing as lvl 20-30..

 

i think aions good wows jsut been around longer

 

its an ok game. bots are out for it already and its going to be tough for the company to keep up with all the bots. i would wait a few months and see if they're going to be strict or not.

 

Aion is 100x better than WoW, its just expensive though.

WoW owns aion... its so much better.

 

It's one of the best I've played in a while.

 

It's a WONDERFUL game...

And people saying, try a private server!

Try.. Not play.. REAL Aion has WAS better graphics.

 

It's quite honestly not a bad game, but the p2p feature kills.
I recommend DDO. F2P and its actually AMAZING.

 

50$ for the game and 15$ a month, wow is over 100 for just the game and 15 a month

i would have to say aion is better pvp wise, you are always under attack from the other 2 opposing factions

 

Aion is complete and utter crap. I just hate it.

 

It a decent game. Better than any of the World of Warcraft games. It is definitely a game that you need to sit there and have patience with. It takes time to get good at the game and learn the tricks and trades. A game for a more intelligent person in my opinion. People simply hate it because it takes more thought than point, right-click, and hit attack.

Okay listen, I've played both Aion and WoW, and Aion is nowhere near WoW. Anyone saying Aion is better most likely hasn't made it far into Aion or has never played World of Warcraft past level 20. Aion is a complete grindfest past level 30. You will never have to mindlessly grind in World of Warcraft because of their amazing random dungeon system and the huge amount of quests in the game. In Aion you have a cap of doing 1 dungeon a day which IMO is just utterly stupid and ridiculous.

Anyone who is thinking of trying out Aion and hasn't played WoW, trust me try WoW first.

 

I'm going to have to agree here. The only thing Aion has over WoW is graphics.

Gameplay > graphics

 

Going to try it once I get my new rig

True, Though I quited WOW its still an amazing game. And people whos say WOW players are all fat chinese people who wont talk are wrong. There are more fun people in the game who actually help you than you think.
Yes, Aion has amazing graphics but thats not the only thing needed for a good game, gameplay is way more important.
