Is a[Mage/Range] Pure viable for wilderness Pk?

Would a 50attack,1str,20Def,52Pray,90range,94mage be viable for wilderness Pk with a clan/and soloing?

50attack for Ancient Staff
20Defense for the dagonhai armor set

so far i have 1attack,1str,1Def,52Pray,55range,1mage

I can't really answer your question as directly as I'd like to be able to answer it, so sorry. But just to remind you the EoC is coming really soon so if you're planning on making this account I'd be very cautious as it may be no good when EoC comes out

You might want to wait until EoC comes out or get in touch with someone who has thoroughly tried BETA Pking to see their opinion

as of now it would definitely be, but as said, it might not be when the EOC comes out, if you can play the beta and check out the skills for that build

 

The EoC beta is not set in stone, they will likely change things to fit with peoples complaints down the road on the update for the main client. I would advise you to make a skiller in the meantime and just get the skills etc necessary for the type of account you are wanting to do, but not the combat skills. This way, so if the account type you want to make is still a viable choice, you are nearly there already and only need to do the combat.

 

Those kinds of hybrids are definitely effective in this RS, and from what I have seen the beta PKing is killer for range/mage hybrid pures, as long as you are good at gear switching.

 

Looks good, but I wouldn't get 20 defence for a single set of armor. It won't really be helping you on 1v1 fights in Edgeville.
