Is 07 even worth playing?

yea it is, it will soon become pre eoc, if they keep updating it, a grahpics update would be nice tho

 

How are the bots? Are there a lot of them?

 

I'm fairly decent, I just meant is the wild active enough to enjoy it or is it dry now?

 

I find that bots are helpful because they supply more resources than what is output by those who do not bot.

Yes it's great. RS3 really isn't the Runescape most people love, but 07 brings back those memories to the Runescape most people did love and have a passion for.

It's worth playing. Much better than RS3 in my opinion. By the way I've played RS since late 01, and yet I still prefer to play the oldschool servers.

The community is bigger than you think. I'd highly recommend it, even if just for the nostalgia.

 

Pretty big community. Pking is fairly active, but I would definitely suggest (pure) clanning. Bots are somewhat under control, I guess.

There are frequent updates and polls, I would definitely try it if you can afford it.

 

I think an update on switching would make it almost perfect.

OP if you arent playing RS anymore I suggest you stay the fuck away from 07.
Think about your social life when you were playing RS all the time if you need motivation.

Posting this in the 07 section is bound to get you biased answers, all these kida PLAY 07.. ofc they think its worth it. Most anyone who quit RS will tell you their quality of life (especially their social lives) has improved.

I quit around EoC time and havent looked back, sure 07 is tempting but there are far better less involving games and things to do then grind your life away for pixels AGAIN. Good luck

 

I appreciate the honest answer. I was more or less thinking about botting the account to be honest with you. So it's not that much of a waste of time.

 

Its easy to get sucked in again. Lol I remember when I quit the first time I quit I was playing an 07 server just a little and all of the sudden I was a full blown rune fag again.

I guess its alright in moderation, but RS seems to be hard to put in check for 90% of the people who play it.

Edit: I swear to god if I get a fucking RS minirank bc of this playing or not playing 07' will be the last of your worries. I will cut open your chest, shit in it, carefully sew you back together and make you breathe that shit until you drown in it.

I'm going to go out there and say that it's not.
Since you are going to have to spend countless hours grinding to get all the stats that you might already have on RS3.
It's a complete waste of time and I've only noticed like "18k" of people play and that is the max that it reaches.

The best thing is that every little thing that is changed about the game is polled to the players so the development is in your hands. I think the community on 07 is also better in terms of pking and duelling.

 

Definitely worth it. There are hardly any bots on the game and those which are on the game get banned eventually. If you stop botting one day you will eventually get banned, sometimes after 4 months or more, even if you didn't bot during those 4 months.

The community is amazing. Back in 2007 there were like 20 bots per yew tree, now you can't find them if you tried. If the same % of bots were on the game now as they were back in 2007 then the 'players online' would be much much higher.
