I recently download mIRC, and my av's picking up a lot of things.




I'm only worried about IRC FLOOD, so please ignore grokster, and what ever/

Could somebody please help me?

 

Where are you downloading IRC from?

I suggest using their official download if you have problems.

 

Also, if you want to just connect to IRC using your internet browser, you can simply use http://mibbit.com/chat/ .

All you have to do is click on the link that says 'Server', type in your IRC server's address, then type in your #channel where it says 'Channel:', and lastly, type in your preferred nickname, which is the name you will be seen as, in the IRC server/channel, and then you're ready to go (just press 'Go')!
