IRC will be changing soon
We have two options
Option 1
Move with cookiezzz to a 'Trolol' network, a small network (250+ users) for a small community, Cookiezzz has claimed that we'll still have the staff we have now, and even the webclient, said network has 20+ other staff.
Option 2
Move to Syed's network, 'VoltIRC', a server set up as a backup if we were to lose support from Cookiezzz, less servers than we have currently (only two), we'll have a qwebIRC webclient, I'll be running it with syed, this is both our first networks so we're on a learning experience.. we'll be able to expand and choose our staff and modules though
Both choices won't really affect you guys when the channel is concerned, we'll be able to do everything we currently can in the first network, we'll have COMPLETE control in the second, but less support/experience, a good way of seeing it is First network is a STABLE choice but less control over smaller variables (such as network bans, i don't think i'll get away with the ones i place now, and spamfilter actions... and choosing new staff), or second network, which is a complete control but could have hiccups every now and then.
up to you guys.
