iPods: How to Sync, Add videos and More

An iPod. Many people have it. Many people cant live without it. But do you really know how to use it? This guide will teach you the basics:

• How to sync music
• How to put videos on your iPod
• How to make sure your iPod is scratch free and protected
• Programs you need

I'm assuming that you have no knowledge of an iPod, so everything will be explained.

HOW TO SYNC MUSIC

Syncing music is as simple as 1,2,3. First of all you need to download iTunes, look at the 'Programs you need' section. Once you have it open it up.

1. Connect your iPod with the adaptor that came with it.
2. Open iTunes and click on music, your music should be there. If not, drag the selected clips into the library.
3. Next click on the iPod icon (3 on the picture)
4. Then click the 'Music' icon in the menu of your ipod device (4 on the picture)
5. Then press Sync.

HOW TO PUT VIDS ON YOUR IPOD

1. Get your video, wether its from rapidshare or youtube.
2. Download 'Videora Converter' in the 'Programs You Need' section.
3. Press the 'Convert' button in RK Converter and pick the step-by-step option, this'll guide you through.
4. Video all converted? Great. Drag it into your videos library.
5. Click on the iPod Device on the left menu.
6. Click on 'Video' in the iPod device menu in the middle of the screen.
7. Press Sync!

This section is if you want to keep your iPod safe. This is to make sure you keep your iPod for the longest time.

How to make sure your iPod is scratch free and protected

The best thing to do is buy a cover for your iPod. This will help scratches ALOT. Or atleast a protector.

Bottom line, make sure its in a safe place. It has a cover of some sort. & It isnt with anything sharp, or that can scratch it.
