I'm not really picky about my music but I feel that 8GB is sufficient enough to have all the songs that you absolutely need. Once again, if he wants solely music, then yeah, this isn't his best option.

I'm not gonna argue with you on this one. It's all opinion/preference. I have PocketGod and I don't see what's so fun about it. I like the Milton Bradley boardgames such as Monopoly, Clue, and Life. They're good for road trips and let everyone play (sans Clue).

When I first bought the iPod Touch, I had all intentions of jailbreaking it. I had no prior experience with Apple products. I simply used the internet to find out how to jailbreak it. After about two hours of reading up on stuff and constant restores, I finally did it. It's amazing, and if you haven't jailbroken your iPod, I highly recommend that you do so.

    Rude on my part. Sorry.

Everyone knows when you buy an Apple product with silver plating on the back, it will get tons of scratches, that's why when everyone buys one on CL or something, they don't even bother to mention it because it's so standard.

In regards to Phinal's question, is it hard to jailbreak the iPod?

It depends what generation you have. If you Wiki jailbreaking, you'll see which models can get jailbroken. I personally have a 2nd Gen 8GB. It was pretty simple if you follow the directions. Once you do it, if you have an untethered iPod, you'll never have to do it again. Again, I recommend that anyone who has an iPod Touch jailbreak theirs, it turns a great device into a godly one.

No I don't mean Wi-Fi, and yes it does have blutooth capabilities. It came with the 3.0 update.

I love my Apple iPod touch.I like it because it has extended battery life, Apple have enhanced the battery significantly in the iPod touch and it can now provide up to 36 hours of audio playback, which is the equivalent of around 6 hours in video play.

    iPod Touch

Get an iPhone without a plan. its an ipod with phone abilities if you later decide to use them. And its roughly the same price.
