Iphone 8 and Iphone X

#1 you knew that when you bought it
#2 battery life is actually pretty average compared to the competition. Maybe an hour or so less, I wouldn't call it "shit"
#3 that's completely untrue unless you're using a phone multiple years old. In which case EVERY phone- regardless of brand will get slow. Mine's two years old and still as fast as the day I got it.

Not a single part of your story added up.
First it was "anybody who has an iphone is an idot"
then you have an iphone that got went out of your way to get, because of it's status symbol.
now you received it for free.
If it's one year old, the iPhone 7 is still one of the fastest phones on the market and certainly doesn't "slow down" under use. Not to mention I don't know too many people giving away $700 phones for free.
