IP Banned from Runescape.com?

Pretty much look up a java proxy on google, other then that idk, You might be IP Banned. Sorry :(

That's happened to me before. Simple solution...

Control Panel > Network Connections

You should see Local Area Connection 4 & Local Area Connection 2.

Right click them, and hit repair. It works for me. (You may need to disable them first, and restart your computer after).

That didn't work. Thanks anyways.

I know this topic is old, but I found out the problem.
I found out that by editing a file named "HOSTS" you can block websites. (look here)When I opened that file to edit it, I seen that somehow RuneScape.com was there.

Now, no one in my family is computer saavy enough to do that. I'm just wondering if there are other ways a site could be put into that file without it being done manually, because I would really like to know how it got there.

If anyone knows how that could happen please let me know. :P

Sounds like you are Ip banned.

Though maybe the site is actually down! o_O Unlikely tho :( .

Have any friends come over to you lately?

None that use this computer.
It's a family computer in the living room, there is no way they could get on it without someone seeing them.

Contact your ISP and ask for an IP change.

If they ask why; say someone is threatening you and they have your ip address.

read the posts before you make one yourself; he has already solved his problem

A friend of mine had a similar problem, and he found out from Jagex that he had indeed been IP banned from all parts of Runescape AND Jagex (I.E FunOrb) for multiple offences of phishing etc.
He simply got a new IP and he was fine.
