IP Banned from Runescape.com?

Pretty much look up a java proxy on google, other then that idk, You might be IP Banned. Sorry

I know this topic is old, but I found out the problem.
I found out that by editing a file named "HOSTS" you can block websites. (look here)When I opened that file to edit it, I seen that somehow RuneScape.com was there.

Now, no one in my family is computer saavy enough to do that. I'm just wondering if there are other ways a site could be put into that file without it being done manually, because I would really like to know how it got there.

If anyone knows how that could happen please let me know.

 

Sounds like you are Ip banned.

Though maybe the site is actually down! Unlikely tho .

None that use this computer.
It's a family computer in the living room, there is no way they could get on it without someone seeing them.

 

Contact your ISP and ask for an IP change.

If they ask why; say someone is threatening you and they have your ip address.

A friend of mine had a similar problem, and he found out from Jagex that he had indeed been IP banned from all parts of Runescape AND Jagex (I.E FunOrb) for multiple offences of phishing etc.
He simply got a new IP and he was fine.

tell your ISP somone is harrasing you they will change it

 

change ur ip its pretty easy and ohh i guess u are ip banned surprisinly
