I offered 15t to Thatchy. He told me he wanted this. I told him ok. He told me 1 Sec will take the payments now. I told him ok. He asked Thatchy to send him Username:

Picture: Then I sent him all this. The account was opened for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, he tells me that there is no money on the account.

I asked him to pay and he told me to do a report on sythe and he will solve this problem there.

Either him or the buyer emptied the account, I cannot know which one did what. Still holding the buyers payment until you decide where it should go.

 

EL JOO - please post the full, uncropped chat logs regarding this trade. You will also need to post from a home IP address as you are currently posting from a VPN.

@Thatchy - were any terms of service agreed to by the person who supplied you the account with the gold, or the buyer? If so, please provide them here.

Whats ur real account? Posted from 2 different names now, even tho I guess guest is free to choose their names but im not sure tho.

 

Just to clarify, i'm happy to pay either part.
And I will add a voice channel in the server for streaming the login of client.

Private server gold sale disputes involving an account transfer method falls under our stance on drop trading, due to it's high risk factor:

Drop Trading: Staff will not get involved in any dispute that involves drop trading. There are multiple ways where it could go wrong and there's 0 reason to be drop trading to begin with. If users want to engage in riskier trades, they are free to do so since Sythe is a free market. However, Sythe Staff members will not see this as a valid report if something were to go wrong.

There are multiple different scenarios that could have taken place in regards to the gold:

• The supplier (EL JOO) could have removed the gold before giving the account details to the re-seller (@Thatchy)
• The re-seller (@Thatchy) could have removed the gold before giving the account details to the buyer
• The buyer could have removed the gold, and then claimed there was no gold on the account when they were given the account details

Per our current stance, I will not be issuing a ruling in regard to who is responsible for the missing gold, as all parties involved in this trade were aware of the trade being outsourced and are not able to provide proof of whether the gold was or was not on the account at the time they delivered and/or received the account.

EDIT: I have removed the TWC as our rules currently state we will not see the report as valid, therefore issuing this would go back on our stance in my opinion. These types of trades are currently being discussed amongst staff as well as the community in the suggestions section. Until a decision is made, I will stick with our current stance. I do apologize for the confusion here, and with that I will go ahead and close this report.
