RWT bans for buyers

Has the ban rate for buyers increased? I heard that jagex is now going after buyers...

 

Yeah it has. Accounts you buy will get insta locked. or get permed for RWT if they can find proof that you are not the Owner.

 

What about gold buying? I'm pretty sure if I don't buy 500m at a time I should have no chance of getting caught?

Buyers almost never get banned for buying gold, unless it's something in huge scale.

 

I got banned couple months ago for rwt, bought mills to. so its possible for sure..

 

It's possible, but it's highly unlikely that this will happen. It depends how you do your business, if you're going to buy like 500M or
1B at a time - you might get banned. Maybe the account that you traded for the gold is flagged by Jagex, and you'll get banned. But
most of the time, people to give people gold, this happens in-game and if it's not a flagged account or a huge amount of gold which is
in an obivous amount, you'll be fine.

 

Im a gold seller myself and I have quite alot experience with bans and whatnot. Frankly, it's quite random when u get banned and not but one thing I would highly suggest is using a high tier / high level account when either purchasing or selling osrs gp. Low level accounts tend to get auto-banned alot. Let me know if you have any further inquieries and i'll be happy to answer them!

Theres a few things you can do to prevent being instantly banned when you have gold on your account. Also sometimes your account can be flagged so that as soon as gold is traded over you are banned.

Best thing for you to do in this situation is to drop trade from your main to a mule on an RDP in a different location. Then drop trade from that RDP to another RDP in a different location. Then trade to gold buyer/seller from that account.

Sounds like a lot of work, but its worth it comparison to losing all of your gold and your accounts.

 

IMO ive never had any issues trading mills/bills over. If over 500m Ill have buyer just do stake xfer. But when I dice with other dicers, ive given up too 300m with no bans straight across on level 3. Also on accounts they very rarely get insta locked for IP changes. Its very hard for them to prove rwt trade of account. I've bought many accounts and have had none banned for IP changes, I do have a friend who did rent his maxed main, and they locked the account. But I was able to help him get it unlocked a day later . To be honest just dont be a idiot and youll be good!

PS-When trading gold over/Buying or selling I tend to do it in high populated areas where Im less likely to be noticed.

 

I personally never been banned for it but I assume with the ammount of rwt these days, I'm pretty sure Jagex has buffed their detection system recently.
