    Inside Death Row

Recently I watched a documentary about a Trevor McDonald inside gen pop/death row, one guy, commited a double hommocide when he was 13, when he turned 15 he got sentanced to 170 years in prison or apply for parrol when he was 100.

Yo I'm not one for letting people innocently killed people but the guy is now 38 and he seems proper chill, personlly I wouldn't mind that guy being out of jail, I don't think he'd be of harm, hes much older and probably understands the severity more now, what do you guys think?

I'd recommend the documentary btw :)

People who spent most of their life in prison tend to be naturally more aggressive because of prison life once they come out. Its also fucking hard getting back into society so they are left with no choice but back to their old ways.

Was he convicted and charged for 2 first degree murders? Affiliated with a gang? Would only explain for a double-murder at such a young age.

I watch Lockup Raw often and I see all these nice people in prison that fucked up their life with one little mistake. Most seem so nice and are serving life with no parole. It's sad to see. Others are serving lengthy sentences and are still fighting their cases claiming to be not guilty. A lot of people get falsely imprisoned for crimes everyday so I wouldn't be surprised.

Would you let him babysit your kids, thought not. He killed two people, he should of been executed.

He wanted to go to a fair and decided to cut peoples lawns, and some elderly woman pushed him on so he and his friend barged in there house and murdered them,

No I wouldn't let him babysit my kids but surely people that have been through what he has should be aloud more privileges etc, or even a chance to come out in his life time,

One guy, like you said DMR, said he should stay in prison its what he deserves, he said if he got out of there and landed a job, and got fired or something he would grab a gun and do what he has to, to get by, because thats the kind of guy he is, he was being serious when he said it too, I love these sort of documentary's though, its just American prisons seem to be much more harsh than you hear in England

Exactly, the only life they know is prison life. They didn't and haven't spent much or any time outside to know the norm of our society. They are use to the harsh/tough environment of prison life.

If you do the crime, you do the time.

It's not that. When people enter and stay in prison for so long, they had to adapt their usual self to look like a badass. It's survival of the fittest. They change and all they constantly see it violence. They have the time of the world and so much goes through their head. They change, a lot. It's easy to say, "I just won't be a retard" anymore but it's not that easy. Many are released on parole and come right back. It's hard. Some make it, just gotta have the support many don't have when they get out.

Watch Lockup Raw on MSNBC. You'll see all this and the people who are living the prison life will tell you first hand.

If I were in there I'd be shitting my pants in the cell all day probably.

But yeh I've seen tonnes of American prison documentaries, does anybody know of a documentary or such of an English prison? I'd like to see how the prisons are different.

They got nothing to do and I guess the first few times in there was tough as fuck but now they've adapted. I don't know how I can live such a life. Many of the prisoners need help but usually don't get it too. I wish prison was more of a rehabilitation place than the type of place it is now. This way, prisoners can actually get out of prison and live a normal life.

I've never really seen Lockup World Tour on TV but its about other prisons around the world. I've never seen an episode so I don't know how it is.

I've seen somewhere, I think though pictures, that other prisons around the world are so much better than the prisons in America. I mean, it's so much better, it makes me question if their prison serves a real purpose.

EDIT: Searched up a bit and found this on a prison in Eastern Europe. I'll personally watch it later.

I watched it and man, some prisons are luxury, they have a nice front court with a fountain, peacocks, flowers etc, and a lot of them are aloud to spend the weekend at home, in a high security prison too.... this is why its unfair to some people though.

The original poster is a fag if he thing it's a good idea to let a self confessed murderer back on the streets, his attitude is more one of a man accepting he will die behind bars no matter what he does. Surely if released suddenly he would both be angry at the establishment and reek retribution. I'd prehaps compare him to a wild animal, hunter, who relaxes every muscle before it is given a chance to strike.

I don't think it matters how you behave when you're in prison to be honest, if you commit a crime you should serve the sentence you get given. The guy killed 2 people for God's sake, he should NEVER be allowed to lead a normal life ever again. I'm sure he's learnt his lesson to some extent but it doesn't change the past. If you start letting people out early for this reason then people will cotton on to it, you'll end up allowing extremely dangerous people back into contact with the public simply because they're intelligent enough to take advantage of what would be a severely flawed justice system.

I'll have a watch of the documentary when I've got some spare time, it sounds pretty good. :)

He deserved his punishment, if he was older he would have probably been executed. Life in prison must be normal for him as he is used there now.

People often judge themselves on their intentions, others judge by actions, this man, although he was 13, he still committed an act that broke the law, not only this, but he took another man's life.

In my opinion, he deserves a harsh and painful death.

Something made this guy commit what he did and he deserves everything he got imagine if that was your mother, father, brother, sister someone you knew you would want that person in prison and never to get out
