Insane editing (youtube clip)

I think I missed the insane part.. Its just pieces of video fading in and out according to music, and overused color corrections you can find all over the internet. All the effects are standards on any movie editing program. The longest work they might have had there is the 3D letters, and for you to learn that it would take about an 1h or so. Just another plain ol' call of duty montage.

Fading out does take skill

 

that 3d work definitely took some time to do. and it is not only fading out, imagine putting all of that together and syncing it. it takes hours

 

The 3d text I could make in ~60 seconds.
Why are they still playing MW2?

i think it looks amazing because it's simple.

 

cuz mw2 is still popular and that 3d text took hours according to the editor

 

It takes literally 15 seconds for each clip. And its not "how you believe", its as I KNOW lol.

There are apps made for a numerous games that retrive camera tracking and pass it over to c4d so you can green screen some text, the most time it takes is to actually render the thing, and even that should take no more than 15 minutes lol.

 

I asked the guy and the 3d work took several hours, fucktard. Stop talking against me.

 

The 3d work wouldn't have been difficult. The clips are straight forward to track on after effects.

This sort of stuff is old, go back to the css days with the following

I'm not trying to down your thread, but as others have stated. When you're watching these videos if something new isn't happening then it isn't all that impressive. So perhaps pipe down a little bit and accept other peoples opinions.

 

That 3D work is a spline feature built into ANY 3D modeling software, a simple Face Extrude, chamfer on the edges, simple shiney black material, and an import into a [pirated] video editing software. It would take me 3 minutes to do that.


It's definitely a very clean edit, but it's boring, unimpressive, and the effects are overdone. Ease up on the photo filters
