Newfags, this is already an unwritten rule. It's called being placed in LCU (last chance usergroup)

    Infraction update.

Im not really supportive of the OP but there should be some way of dealing with people who intentionally attempt to get temp banned through infractions.

    Infraction update.

    No.

I've got 51 infractions but literally 20-25 of them are invalid bans that actually were reversed

The others are over a 3 year period which if u figure 36 months at 25-30 infractions that's literally 0.69-0.8 infractions/month.

That's virtually nothing yet u want me permed off the forum? I'm pretty sure 0.69-0.8 infractions/month(nearly 2 months per infraction on average) does not make me a poor forum member what so ever.

Me getting a spam infraction or a excessive bumping infraction or something EVERY 2 MONTHS on average does not make me(or anyone else) a poor forum member, shit happens, you get a flaming infraction because ur in a bad mood and go on with ur life. Same with spamming etc.

You don't give people excessive punishments because of this, I'm not the only member by far with 50+ infractions, the older the member the higher the infraction count.

Can you imagine the workload of staff trying to figure this out? What if a 2009 member with 65 infractions comes back and gets infracted, what are u going to do, make staff review all 8 of his bans to make sure each one is valid?

My point is your talking about creating an IMMENSE workload on the staff team, every single person with these infraction counts would have to be manually looked at EVERY punishment, because many of them(like myself) have a bunch of overturned/reversed punishments on their profiles where we were unbanned at a later date.

Also your once again trying to remove community members that sythe desperately needs, stop suggesting additional punishments and restrictions, your the reason the sites dying(and people like you).

    I absolutely don't support this.

    Infraction update.

Infractions expire for a reason and we are not going to start counting infractions as a whole.

If we believe someone is a problem in a specific section or an overall problem to the forum, we will remove them from the section or the forum. This is a very specific suggestion, providing a solution to a problem we do not currently have. Staff has discretion in their bans and if someone is a problem, they will be banned for x amount of time. They are outliers and will be treated as such.

Staff are not just limited to "well, they're shit posting all over the place and we can't do anything about it =\"

    That's my two cents

    Infraction update.

Is this thread in reference to the idiots spamming the RASC? I think if anything, we should be more cruel and assertive on that front. Maybe infraction build up for petty things (@Bus369) shouldn't be as harsh, but the RASC section should be taken very seriously and anyone who decides to be an idiot there deserves a ban. @GmT what do you think?

    Infraction update.

If there are individuals trolling in RAS, send me the posts (this goes for everyone). We currently allow 3 day bans for posting in RAS and I have no problem issuing them.

    Infraction update.

Not my fault that I'm unware that the infraction system doesn't have a reverse/quashed function.
Neither could I know because I abide by the rules like 99.9% of people.

Irrelevant I can name 3 people right now that have 0.1 or less infractions/month

Clearly didn't read the post as it doesn't even say permed anymore.

Don't early bump, you won't have any problems adding 8 hours to your last post isn't that difficult of math to do. If your shitty autobumper is messing up then don't use it.

Again not sure why you're talking about yourself?

I could imagen it being quite tiny given that they fix the infraction system.

Your definition of "immense" needs to be looked at, aswell as your definition of "million"

Last time I checked we have a lot of DNT members being part of the community, so not sure what the fuck ur on about once again.

^ Im an obvious supporter of punishing anyone in RAS harshly. Though even mediocre shit needs to be punished harsher if it's don often enough. Anyone that acctually doesn't want to break the rules won't ever get over 10 infractions. unless they're retarded as fuck.[/QUOTE]

    Infraction update.

In the rare situations someone has managed and continues to accumulate an exorbitant amount of infractions, they will be handled appropriately (I.e. forum bans and/or temporary bans); furthermore. I don't think this suggestion affects enough users to be worth implementing.

    Closed.
