Infernal Capes / Teamviewer

It's really no secret that doing an infernal cape for someone or having someone else do it for you seems to pretty much be a death wish for the accounts of everyone involved now. I've heard that people have taken to doing them via teamviewer which has kind of peaked my curiosity on the subject and I know a lot of people around Sythe probably know much more on the subject than I do. I've heard apparently someone was banned even having it done through teamviewer but there is really no credible source so honestly that could just be bullshit.

So a few questions:

Wouldn't doing an infernal cape through teamviewer be literally impossible due to the lag and delay?

If people are doing it through teamviewer somehow, is it true that Jagex can still detect this and ban people? Has this actually happened?

 

Has there been a load of bans from users doing Inferno Capes for others?
How are they tracking this efficiently? Like if I went on vacation, and got inferno while I was on vacation, they would ban based off the different IP’s? Or do they have a different method of verifying

 

they'd be able to see the activity on that different ip im guessing.

There legit wouldn't be anyway to track capes Via teamviewer.
I was talking to this kid on my Fl on rs and he said he paid and he got it done via tv. And hes legit the biggest noob iv seen in w25 at 98 cb with inferno it actually pisses me off.
But the lag/Delay really has me confused because that shit is so god dam laggy i do not get it.

I guess they are really really experienced in these fields and know what they hell they are doing with lag or without.

 

Teamviewer method basically a guy is controlling your computer Therefor your ip still says the same. hes just remote controlling your mouse/keyboard

 

i wasnt referring to teamviewer, i meant if the person logs onto your account.

 

I have heard that the ip check is one way, but the other way would be common sense, like they assume no one can possibly finish in first go, especially if acc wasnt maxed or whatever. Thats just what I heard, not sure about the truth behind it, but if it is that way, probably good idea to die few times on your own before buying cx.

 

I've done a few so far via TV, it's all down to latency so as long as the person is nearby then you shouldn't have too many problems. There like 1 tick delay in every action.

AFAIK anyone getting banned is being a retard speaking about it publicly and then getting reported to Mod sween on twitter. I'm sure they have some sort of mechanic to investigate it.

 

Done plenty of capes on teamviewer to tell you that i haven't had a single complain yet and doubt i will anytime soon

 

I know many people whos got their cape with teamviewer/even their irl friends doing it for them lmao.

 

Thanks for the responses, I didn't think that teamviewer would be a viable option even for people that are relatively close. How far away can someone be before teamviewer is no longer worth using? Also if you get a customer who doesn't live near you / any of your workers, what then?

For people that are from EU. It depends on your ping and down/up as well, but it should be fairly reliable if you have a good connection.

 

I see no way jagex could tell if someone was using team viewer for a fire/infernal cape
