Incest shouldn't be legal... how many of you would have sex with someone from your own family? I know I wouldn't.

 

It will affect their child. The child will have a higher chance of inheriting bad genes from both parents.

 

They "Could" do what they want, but the results would be terrible. Not only is it a very sinful thing to do, but two related people have some of the same traits, (Genes,) and it would most likely cause a genetic disorder in the next generation.

As long as contraception is used, I don't really see the problem.

Having a child via incest should remain illegal for obvious reasons however.

 

So, because the Bible says so, it's wrong? That's a terrible attempt at justification. The Bible in essence isn't meant to be taken literally whatsoever. It was a set of laws, morals, and judgements to live by. To make yourself a better person in the long run.

Well if you believe 100% in the bible, then technically this is all incest. Adam and Eve were the first humans in existence, correct? Well they had sex, made a baby or two, then had sex with those babies and the babies had sex with eachother and thus, the life cycle of the human being was started.

Don't bring the bible into this, because it's a big ass book of deceit and contradiction.

On a related note, I think incest is right as long as it's not for procreation. Who cares if you have a *really* hot 2nd cousin and you two wanna bone?

Should it be illegal?" yes the reason why we do not breed with one other is so we do not keep "breeding" in the same DNA pool.

Lets say you and your sister have a child: that child is more likely to be born with defects (retarded etc). These two then go well lets try again, boom other child with defects...And so fourth. They keep putting these childrens into homes. They then costing us more, and these children are born with our loving parents. Lets say that they care for the child, due to the lusty for one other this child has been robbed of the chance of a "full" life by there mother and father (and in this case aunty and uncle )

Well the assumption i made is that most people who sleep with there family are bogans/rednecks. And that they live of the system. Boom have a kid, if it aint good for breeding put it into a home.
