Inactive Name Change Question

Hello,

Wanted some clarification as I did some digging/seraching of old topics. Wanted to see if inactive accounts/names are available or if this rule has been changed. I see the pinned topic in regards to names and a name change can possibly be done, per the thread:

Please bear in mind your desired name must be available/not taken.

I saw old posts that also said a different line along the lines of "also if the account was inactive for 3+ years or so" (something along this line). Wanted to see if this is still the case or if something changed.

 

Unfortunately it does not appear this topic/post is available nor is the Donor Lounge unless you have donated. It may be beneficial to show this 3+ year rule outside of the Donor Lounge as well as this may answer some questions.

Appreciate the quote though. I understood they are not released for minor but for major.
