In search for a development team for WoW private servers: [[Read]]

Hiyas,

I'm going to be starting my own WoW server, but what I need is a Dev. team, too help with the DB, site, game bugs and community.

**Be warned I WILL ask for examples of what you can do, these MUST have your name scripted into it**

Jobs:

Lead developer:

Lead developer..well the name says it all, pretty much is in charge of the development team, and comes up with idea's. This position will go to a HIGHLY skilled person.
Positions (1)

Database team:

The Database team pretty much takes care of the database and hosting with the realms (No, you don't have to pay for the hosting..I do all that)
This position will go to the people that have knowledge of the DB and can prove it to me, those that don't will be kicked out of the job. Positions (3-5)

Game development team:

The Game development team develops the game to be a better place. They also fix most bugs and do all the testing for the game.
Positions (2-5)

Website development team:

The Website Development team fix the website, build it, keep it safe from injections..ect. They also improve the website with fantastic new things.
Positions (1-2)

In sometime future, I will be looking for mature and great GM's for the game.

I will (might) be hosting the server for a while on a friends computer which is brilliant (trust me, hosted a few CS servers on it) . This will be until I get the money for a VPS server which the teams can help me pick out.
I will be hosting one realm until our donations pick up and earn us the money to get another realm. (they costs lots )

hmm, which emulator will the server be running on ? ascent or mangos ?

 

well im new to coding but if someone taught me id get better and im also pretty good at websites im also good at testing and not abusig power

Ascent- Server's up, but currently being ran on Hamachi till I get the money for a VPS --

how to connect:

Download hamachi from www.hamachi.cc
install it..ect

Then create a user and join a server:

Server: Wowshape
Pass: abcd

set realmlist to 5.12.241.142

 

Well, i have some knowledge on websites ect. but it's been a while since i've used it.

Anyway, if you are in need of GM's, feel free to contact me, i would gladly help out with GM work, website support of players, ect ect..

I've had experience with both the ascent and the mangos server structure (NOT saying that i know programming, but how things work), and i have had my own private server once. So i know how things work.

Sound's good. GM's are out of the question till I get the VPS sorted. I will contact you in the near future. Please be aware you will need to fill out the GM apps I have set up on our website.
