imposter scam

luckysgoldshop scammed me for 400m
after i already gave him a location he switched the location on me, telling me to meet him at lumbridge.
notice in the video there is nobody else around who can even see us , so only me and him know the exact location , and why do you have an account with almost the exact name ? if this was an imposter wouldn't you use different locations / different accounts ? it is obvious you signed in under me and send a trade with an account with the identical name, that is how the alt knew when to spawn in is because the alt is you and when u seen me trade you logged your alt in and knew it would be under me because of the location your other account was standing you knew i would be standing in the doorway apon trade. which is where your alt "logged in" and sent me a trade request. and all of a sudden he says he "Crashes" when i am trying to trade . It was on my part to accept the trade but if you really pay attention to how orchestrated his plan is in the video you will see that the alt is in fact him, trying to trick players before they actually sell him the gold , if he can get a few players a day doing this, why wouldn't he ?

Unfortunately the RSN he told you to trade ended with smi and the one you traded ended with sni meaning it was an ingame imposter.

In the future you should really double check to make sure the RSNs match and if they don't then you should never go forward with the trade until the buyer/seller confirms that. In the video you also traded the gold without any sort of confirmation with him you just straight handed him the gold then said 400m you after, To avoid situations like this you should wait in trade screen until the buyer/seller confirms it is them in the trade.

It is really common for imposters to stalk out big gold buyers and sellers and camp their locations to try and find their customers and attempt to scam them, That's how the imposter knew who to trade and where to stand.
