It sends a message to there email to confirm this device, and i'm not sure what kind of info it shares on the email for them to enable my computer to be on there account.

    Better safe than sorry.

To answer your question about what information is shown. The registered device will show 4 different information settings.

    1. The name of the device (customizable)
    2. The registered I.P. address
    3. The date it was added
    4. How long until the device will expire

Purely a judgement call on your part as your registered IP Address will be seen by the customer.

You could attempt to login with an Epicbot/Powerbot/etc. client, which will provide the customer with a masked IP address. I actually noticed this whilst using both of these clients. Hopefully that can be your solution, and you're more than welcome :)

They can see your IP anyway when they next login. JAG just makes it in their email inbox, but if they really wanted it they can just screenshot the "last logged in from" message.

Don't you also need to know their JAG security answers to be able to add your device to their account?

Once you log on, they get an email saying you would like to register onto their account. They can then accept your device for X amount of time, I usually just have my customers remove their Jag because it's kind of buggy.

I was also worrying the same thing as wanted to get some training done on my account but feared for the safety of my account and the trainer...But thanks for the help :), I'd say it's not really a problem as they can see the I.P. regardless just as Kero said.

When you attempt to login from your device (say you're the account trainer). An automated email from Jagex saying a new device wishes to login to your account will send to the customers' email address. From that point on, the account owner can then except the device and allow it for a certain period of time, etc.
