I made a thread "LONG" ago discussing this, however I had a bad example. So I'm remaking this topic.
Lets talk immigrants. They're everywhere if you're in a first world country, Canada, US, UK, Australia, you name it, they're everywhere in the Western world, especially Asians. I'm Asian myself, but I'm gonna put out some valid reasons as to why they should not be allowed to live in a country that they're not willing to adapt in. Now I'll be focusing more on Asians than other cultures, but same thing applies really...
1. Language - If you notice, most immigrants that are older adults that immigrate to an English country from said country, don't know English. Communication is key in an English speaking country. If you're moving to a country who's main language is English, and you don't bother even putting in an effort learning English, THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE!? People who are immigrating here with no experience in English at all should have to take a class and write an English essay, and have to score higher than 60% on that essay and an oral test as well. Because, if they're not putting in an effort to learn English, then why let them stay in a country who's main language is English. Makes no sense, but I hear about this problem pretty often.
2. Contribution - Now, there's gonna be mixed reaction with this argument. But there are people in these countries that do "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING", it's crazy right? They don't contribute to society, they don't do anything nice for people, they just sit around and let people take care of them. This is more directed to older individuals. But what I'm saying here is, what's the point of having them here than their native country? They're essentially just wasting away the countries resources. Worst part about it is, they do nothing.
3. Population - Immigrants add to the population quite a lot. Imagine if California or British Columbia was free of immigrants, it wouldn't have a shit ton of people over flooding the city. The population in California wouldn't have more people than Canada and it certainly would make driving a lot less jammed.
4. Culture - I know everyone likes to keep their culture, whether you're Chinese, Indian, whatever. I'm not saying everyone should "FULLY" 100% change their culture, but what I am saying is to adapt to the culture of the country you're in. Back to language for a second, I think it's retarded that people neglect certain media cause it's "ENGLISH" while you're in an English country. A good movie or TV show that's in English is neglected, just because you're whatever. While living in a English country, people should learn to experience other cultures, specifically the one they're living in. People are "STUCK" up and only care about what's going on in their world. Not willing, not intelligent enough, not down for any change. So why are they here? Some people don't know anything about the history of the country, nothing at all. If you're moving to a place like China, you gotta experience their culture as well, not change, but experience.
Well, this is all I got off the top of my head. This is more directed to the older people then anything. Someone in their mid 20's has a chance to catch up. But for example, my dads been here for 30+ years and he's in his mid 50's to 60. He can't even throw a proper sentence together. Also, my mum's brainwashed by the Chinese government. I knew of this one guy who had a step grandfather, he doesn't even know how to put a sentence together, but I'm sure he knows a few words at best. I have plenty more examples, but discuss away.
