fire cape streaming question

Are we allowed to stream firecapes for users if they want? Probably wouldnt do it on twitch but a less mainstream streaming website. I want to do this because i feel like it would increase business, thanks.

 

Jagex mods check twitch streams pretty often so i wouldn't recommend streaming someones cape even if you block RSN they can still get the RSN through just stats.

If you want to screenshare someones cape use a separate screensharing program. (Skype has one built in)

Yeah but only stream pure capes because who wants to watch someone do a main cape that's boring and easy

The person you are doing it for would have to agree with it. Issue is, it is a streaming channel that could never grow, otherwise it would draw attention from others/jagex, and they'll quickly see the accounts aren't yours.

 

You should ask your customers for permission first, I would also block out the rsn while streaming as well.

 

Couldn't you just screenshare over Skype or something? Might be abit laggy, but better than getting your customers account banned using Twitch

 

It's not "allowed" because its account sharing but if you did it on a different website or made a fire cape service on Sythe it would be more safe.

 

Join.me is a screensharing service that should easily allow you to privately stream the cape for the person you are doing it for.

If you just record the game screen and not the stats/chat box I don't see any down sides

 

If I was going to get another fcape I wouldn't want it streamed for the safety of my account
