im having trouble opening certain files with .dat .class and more

ok so...in my server developement i have figured out i need to open some certain files but i cant open them.



i cant open those ones or these:





PLEASE POST A DIRECT LINK TO THE THINGY THAT CAN OPEN THIS PLEASE SO I CAN GET ON WITH MY LIFE. THANK YOU.

 

Can you explain to me what your trying to do that requires you do open them files? I've never had to edit one of them EVER..

 

The files that open with microsoft office outlook, right click on of the files, go to open with, then select note pad, you should be fine then

 

yes but the problem then is im not sure if i will mess the stuff up

and when i open certain files it gets like messed up like they area a bunch of squares (ms word is pretty godo but i cant get rid of the squares)

 

you dont need to edit class files, dont worry, the .cfg edit with notepad
and can u open .java files?

 

you cant edit class files, if you want to you need a decompiler
