If I was banned it was either because they closed my account or it was hijacked - there is no way to prove this but if Yousuckv2 does find a scam report against me, please let me know and I will deal with it.

• Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you: @Joshuaag1234 kindly notified me of the report - I had forgotten about hackforums completely, as originally I was there to learn about encryption for my personal files (just passwords I needed saved) after my cashing out of Runescape and the end of my RSbot scripting career. While I cannot deny dabling around with what they had on the site, I never did anything malicious and just tested programs in sandbox - that was the extent of the activity. I did offer encrypting as well - stupid of me yes, but at that time I believe sythe did not have such a stance on such activities. As a victim of Java drive by's back before there was any way to really prevent it, it did interest me how it would occur - so thats how I ended up there.

Nothing malicious? So you don't think offering RAT services/malware/crypting is malicious/blackhat?

 

Sorry, I am a bit flustered by the whole situation, mostly embarrassed and this was definitely a time in my life I wish I could have put behind me.

As to what Gracious has posted, yes it is indeed malicious, but I meant I personally had never passed an infected file to another person (other then their own "file") that I had encrypted. What I was meaning to get at was, I did dabble with RAT's mostly to reverse engineer and understand how they worked - personally after seeing so many problems with skype and overall online security back in the day it interested me - I was a stupid teenager, bored and trying to learn about how people ended up hacked. I dabbled with many things on the site - I am not going to hide it, but I never used it on anyone other than myself. I never offered a service that would directly hurt people - but I admit it indirectly did and it's the same thing in this case.

I repeat, I had never done anything outside of testing it on my own server that I had used for botting - to see what exactly it was capable of, I did purchase a few, and I did sell the "license" back as well - this is probably the furthest I dove into truly doing things I regret. Six years ago, I was 17 and bored - while it is just my word, I have grown much since. I did not come back to Sythe other then to pick up a nice Runescape name (shoutout to @Joshuaag1234 ) so I could play again.

My HF account was closed - not banned (I am pretty sure, although it was over 6 years ago) I knew that it was morally wrong to be on that site. And the things I learned up until then showed me how terrible things got.

Of course while I was playing Runescape I met people who understood coding and the black hat side of things, so I learned about encrypting files - the entire algorithm and encryption languages all stimulated me back then - I was decent at it and the only thing I had offered (if I offered something else, it must have been for a friend - at this point I don't think I did). - after I quit (anxiety and guilt) I sent off my source code to virustotal/norton (I checked paypal and I did not have a single sale of my services if there was any offered during the time).

I am very remorseful for what I was doing back then, if I did post anything on HF that is incriminating it was probably my teenage self speaking out my ass. I have grown tremendously since then (finished college, going off to med - told myself I wouldn't touch that side of computers again). If the choice is to keep me banned - I accept it, as it was still a time in my life although.

You were young. It's a good thing that you decided to quit blackhat related activities. Your last activity on hackforums was in 2010. I believe that you're a changed man now and I'm willing to give you a second chance.
