Im a burn victim

UPDATE: I am fully functioning. My arm is scarred up from my elbow to my fingers, but it's okay. Makes a cool story. I have a scar on my face, but people know about it at my college so it's not like anyone judges me or questions me. Everyone supports me and for that I am thankful. I'll post again after my dermatology and general physician appointment over the next few days.

 

Shit happens bro, im sorry for what happened to you. My brothers friend, who is also a friend of mine, had both of his parents die in a car accident just a few weeks ago. He's in the third grade...

Hope you recover soon man, and its only temporary. It could of ended worst

Really glad that u are recovering well. The best thing about it is that u are optimistic over the whole situation and it doesn't affect u in a negative way. All these positive mindsets ultimately are the things that speed up ur recovery. Many people should learn from u cheers

 

An acquaintance of mine was in a similar situation. Burn pile exploded, was rushed to the hospital. Second and third degree burns all over his face and arms and chest, his skin was peeling for quite a while. After a few months though you would have never known, he healed up pretty well - I'm sure you will too. Make sure you get medication and get better man.

 

I'm sorry to hear that, it's crazy how 1 little thing can change your life like that..

Just be very thankful you will look fine in 8 weeks and lived to tell the tale. That is not a long time in perspective of life, and it may hurt to see yourself like this now but just be strong and in a few months time you can continue your life as normal, maybe even with a little more zest after such a scare.

Mind giving us an update post? Hope all is going well, cant imagine the pain of being burned and trust ull be fine. Glad closest thing i ever experienced of getting burned is roasting scottie
