Again, this was such a long time ago that I cannot find the thread, please note the full details of the exchange that led to the ban below.

I don't want to bore anyone by typing up too lengthy of an essay so I will try to keep this as concise as possible, apologies in advance if I fail. We are going back around 3-4 years for this ban and I will explain everything to the best of my memory.
I had purchased an account from a real life friend that I used for a year or so before boring of RS and deciding to move on with my life, so I thought I may as well recoup some of my costs by selling the account on these forums. I made the topic and it attracted a lot of attention (the account was fully maxed) and I selected to whom I was going to sell it, R2Pleseant. The sale went through without any issue and we were both very happy with the trade.
We skip forward a couple of months and me and my friend (from who I originally purchased the account) fall out, over a girl (what else!) To my great annoyance, he decides to recover the account as he moves away from our hometown. It is worth mentioning that this is somebody that I went to school with and grew up with, I never imagined in a million years he would attempt to recover the account; I would never have sold it if I thought otherwise.
R2pleseant recovers the money on PayPal, which I did not contest as I acknowledged doing so would be unfair on him. He then understandably banned me (or had me banned) from these forums. I did everything I could to try to recover the account for him but to no avail, I was then left without the account and minus the funds I obtained from selling it. At the time I did not have a job and could not afford to clear the debt on PayPal, they even resorted to threatening legal procedure on myself. In short, I learnt the hard way and really got the sharp end of the stick.
I feel I should be unbanned as I am truly not a risk to anyone on these forums. In the years since I have been banned I have grown and matured greatly as a person changing from a teenage boy to a now grown 20-something man. During this time I have proven myself to be a very trusted a loved member of a number of Runescape-related internet forums. Most notably of these is the private server Near-Reality, where I was known as Pony. I proved myself on aforementioned forums until reaching head-admin and being one of the most popular members, having middle-manned trades of many bils on RS via our black-market section. I hope to build something in the light of this on these forums, as Near-Reality is now but a distant memory.
I ask that I am at least considered for an unban as I would love the opportunity to become an active and productive member of these forums. My ban dates back many years and as I said above, I have changed massively in that time. I would like my original account to be unbanned so I can begin actively posting, contributing and generally helping without evading a ban (that and this account was a donator!!).
I would like to take this time out to offer a genuine apology to R2pleseant (Will?) and to anyone else I may have disappointed with my unknowing actions.
P.S: If I were to be unbanned, is there any way my name can be changed? I have no idea what was going through my head when I thought that illlliiiiiilllll would be a decent name!
