Illegal immigrants

I think that they should be able to come here however illegal immigrants should be returned to where they came from and apply for a VISA.

They are called illegal immigrants for a reason, because It is against the law.

So yes It Is wrong and we shouldn't have to join thier suffering

I didn't say that they would rather go jobless. The corporations save money by paying them a lower wage. If they employed Americans instead, they would be forced to pay at least minimum wage, so the resulting increased costs would be passed along to the customers, driving prices up.

Are the majority of illegal immigrants paid below minimum wage? Because I don't recall reading that in the article you sent me.

Who said I didn't support a more efficient legalization process?

I don't see how the fear that legal immigrants experience regarding their green card makes illegal immigrants more prone to criminal activity.

Ehh, I assumed you implied it by saying we don't have a right to stop people from going where they want to go. I thought you meant like people should be able to freely go wherever the hell they want. I'm saying they should as well, but should not have SPECIAL PRIVELEGES with respect to all the people who were previously there. Why should some people not pay to live in the country, while others should?

And legal immigrants get their Green Cards or VISA or whatever they have revoked [and getting deported back to the countries of origin, if necessary] after a certain number of crimes, correct? So, after going through the legalization process and finally getting an opportunity to make your life better, would you want to take that risk?

I see. Because all laws ever created by humankind cannot be debated, because they were created by people who know everything about everything, and our opinions don't matter. We must mindlessly follow all laws created by the government. [*cough* Nazis *cough*]

Well, Personally I believe although illegal immagration may be a growing problem in America, and in many countries, there are big hassles on their hands in their mind. Such as the war in Afghanistan, and the middle-east.

So....? Why is it a "problem?" What does the war have to do with it?

Illegal immigrants shall continually come and go. If they are dealt with, then good, but it seems that it is not such a "hot topic" any longer. I can say that it's a problem, because in sneaking in, they may perform terrorist actions aginst our country. I am not trying to say that is what every one does, but it can be done.

Hmm. Interesting topic, however.

you stated "I think that they should be able to come here", than you said "however illegal immigrants should be returned to where they came from and apply for a VISA"

this threads topic is illegal immigrants, so if you are saying the legal ones should be allowed, please specify what you are stating because the way it looks is that you are contradicting yourself, aswell as do you know the difference between them getting here on a VISA and them coming with a green card?

So your saying 2 wrongs make a right? that sounds very intellectual doesn't it? the illegal immigrants are costing us 343.3billion dollars a year, much more than the war on terror, also the war on terror, what we are doing may actually have a benefit compared to letting these illegals in our country,

Personally, I think there should be limitations, but not nearly as strict.
If they don't have a criminal record, and they are clean of illnesses, and are 100% clean of drugs then why not let them in?

If they don't have the listed above, then what would be their motive sneaking into a Country?

Please explain.

Rofl...let's see....Oh yeah! How about to get out of that shithole they used to call home? To try to make a living and provide for their children? You're right - all drug-free, illness-free, and crime-free people don't need anything else.

You failed to answer the question, as to what their motive is.

If they want to make a living and provide for their country, they just come on over, because they have nothing to hide. In this, there is no penalty for crossing the borders legally, where they would be open to all job opportunities, effective immediately.

So, yet again I shall ask, what is their motive to sneak into a Country if they have nothing to hide?

Taxes. Getting away from a corrupt government. Awfully inefficient legalization process [it takes a LOT of time, and even still - you're not guaranteed acceptance. Even when you are accepted, there are still many strict regulations for a while, like the Green Card system]. Illegal immigrants obviously don't have to play by the government's rules, making them a "criminal" in the eyes of the American justice system. If you could change your life around in a matter of days, rather than a matter of months, wouldn't you?

Immigrants are looking to find a better life, the US is apparently the best source of that life. I recommend reading "the tortilla curtain" by T.C. Boyle. It gives the perspective of both sides - the immigrant and the people affected by his entrance to the states.

Evidence pl0x? And anyways, should there even be labor laws protecting them?

i dont think christmas meant there should be labor laws protecting them, if christmas did, christmas please correct me, but a lot of them are being paid under the table under minimum wage amounts, making it another reason business's select to employee them over the average american, tbh, this is somewhat like slavery, seeing as the slaves where a problem of taking the white mans job, back than because some of the white men where using them for free labor, this is practically free labor paying these illegal immigrants, im not supporting them at all or saying they should be here so dont misinterrupt my statement.

acually i apologize for my misstype but what i meant by war on terror was the war in iraq, not the whole category of everything going on due to the plan of our country to stop terrorism.
