My friend moved to this country (United States) to have a better life. He came here as an llegal immigrant. A few months later he became legal. He made some impressive accomplishments such as becoming president of our school and one of the highest GPAs in our district. No doubt he'll be great one day.

It's stereotypical to say such bad things about illegal immigrants. Some could be the best, some could be the worst. Just like anyone else living in this county legally.

Um there called illegal immigrants for a reason, its because they're ILLEGAL, as you said he came here illegally at first, making him a criminal, aswell as you can't take one example and use it to generalize the whole category of them as you did, there are many that come here illegally and kill people or are involved in drug trafficking,

 

I didn't use the example to generalize the "whole category of them."

And they're many of them that come here to have a successful life.

Many of us (Americans) commit these crimes on a daily basis as well.

ok, than explain to me why the ratio showing how much more likely illegal immigrants are to commit severe crimes than the average american supports your theory? you can't because it would contradict your arguement. i bet you reply to this without answering my question and by trying to flame me.

 

You can't stand by that alone. I could pull up the same ratios against us (Americans). You can't go by ratios alone. There are many factors that influence those ratios such as bias research.

Well, Im Pakistani and I live in the u.k. Im not an illegal Immigrant. My grand father was asked to come to england when the british empire invaded us because he was a lawyer.

Me myself yeh i do have a major problem with illegal immigrants. Tbh they shouldnt be allowed in countries.

Im not against immigrants, just the illegal ones i hate.

 

I'm sorry but if you can't stand by ratios and fact what can you stand by...? Not much else because in the atheist argument rational argument must be supported by your rational fact. That is both a rational argument and fact.

 

i think we need immigrants there not taking your jobs there taking the crappy jobs that no one wants. For example, do you want to wake up and be like cya mom im going to pick oranges in the 100 degree weather. No you want to sit on your butt and work in your nice air conditioned room. I don't mind them because what America was built on IMMIGRANTS!!

 

OK but why can't they come here legally. The illegals also kill, steal, rape, and traffic drugs. Look at Miami for instance. The south of Florida has way more crime then it used to because of the illegal immigrants. I have no problem if they are legal because they most likely wouldn't do that because then they would lose there green card.

 

Not all immigrants are bad. Yes you will have a few that will sell drugs, steal, kill, and rape but most are trying to find a better life. For example, a Mexican family is not making enough money too live off. They come to America the land of Opportunity looking for jobs. They are trying to get enough money to get the food on the table to feed their family. That's pretty much what the whole world is doing. Either your parents or you are trying to get money to put food on the table.

That's great for your friend. He's going to actually produce some money for this economy, at some day - legally. Illegal immigrants can't get high ranking jobs, and unless they become legal, their kids cannot have a good education, etc. As an illegal, he was costing our country money [maybe not much, but when you take the thousands of illegal immigrants and add it up, I believe the research shows that is is around 340B dollars] - by becoming legal, he put himself in a position to become successful, etc.

Why didn't he become legal before entering America, though? I think there should be a 2-3 month "tourist" <-- bad word, I know, I mean like "stay in our country, but don't cause any problems!" period, and after that, they must take a citizenship test or apply for a Green Card. If they fail, they get deported. If not, they are no longer illegal immigrants. Make sense?

2) Somebody, whether you realize it or not, will always need to get paid doing something. Especially with the economy being as fucked as it is, and Obama removing hundreds of jobs by increasing taxes on large corporations, many people will need to do the "crappy" jobs like picking oranges in 100 degree weather. I kind of laughed here, because ALL of your debates in the theistic arguments are based on irrational faith. Don't try to make yourself seem special because you have a good argument here; you don't even follow these principles yourself in the theistic debates. ALL argument must be supported by rational facts, not just atheistic ones. Lolololol.

The vast majority of immigrants are not bad. But illegal immigrants have a much higher rate of crime than legal immigrants. FACT. Why can't this Mexican family get granted citizenship rights? Why do they have to cost AMERICA a lot of money, in order to provide for themselves?

 

well what do you think ratio's come from? they come from facts and percentages and if you can actually find a ratio or chart based on facts showing the opposite of my statement i'd love to see it, and not just a ratio of 1 state, id like to see a complete one. if you can't than you obviously can't support your statement meaning you have no arguement besides things based on your opinion.

 

I'm going to tell you the truth. There really isn't a way to back religion up with rational fact because there is no way to prove to you that God does exist. Another thing. Why can't I use rational atheistic argument when I am arguing an issue that does not involve religion in any sense of it? So if I don't argue rationally in religious topics that means that I can't argue rationally in others? Don't you think you are being discriminatory here? I sure do.

Legal fucking people do the same thing. If you look, almost all of the people in prison are black or white.

You see, just because you say that illegals dont follow rules, sell drugs, kill people, etc etc. does not back up your clause at all. I mean really, anyone can kill someone, and the past years of our country has shown that.

 

I don't understand why it is anybodies business where I chose to live so long as I own the property/rent or whatever.

 

only 1 out of 8 get in the US and stay, were doing a lot, it also cost a lot too. we need to have a 2-1mile buffer zone, no-mans land. and deport/punish all illegal immigrants, making it "more" against the law, they don't get rights so the trial isn't free, the lawyer isn't free, don't have the 5th right; double jeopardy and you must try against their self.

we should do a lot now so we don't have to pay for it latter.

 

Obviously you don't know anything about this topic, first of all how are they paying rent when they ae getting it paid for them by welfare and also housing programs such as service-8 and HUD, that means our tax money is paying for it, also before you reply to this please take a second to read my first post on this thread, and explain how you feel about that.
