I don't see why he gave to a random stranger, which could be him
and i already said my RSN is same, in both.

Also, He doesn't have proof of giving gold?
Sorry for all this, but its so dumb.. most mm's will say what is your rsn... /
is your rsn.... and does not give the money without knowing the other's rsn?
And i want to know how the guy popped from no where and trades the mm? and gives the gold to him. and the guy goes away.

 

If a mod approves of it and says I have to refund I'll do so, however I did ask if it was him in the trade, he said yes, so I gave the gold.

 

We are both waiting for an answer =)

 

Justice, why would TBG know that you're trying to trade him if he were in a trade screen with another person? Also, saying "same" doesn't mean same rsn. You could have been replying to a different comment earlier in the Skype chat.

However, TBG doesn't have screenshots of giving any gold at all, while you have proof that you received nothing, so I'm leaning towards either him refunding half, but 0 is also a possibility.

If you hadn't literally said "yes" as soon as he asked you to confirm, I'd push for 100%. If someone asks you to confirm, and in game they're listed as busy, then you know they're talking about the trade.

I'll leave this open for other staff opinions though.

Alright so the way I see it this is just one of the many responsibilities an MM has. This could have been easily avoided with a "What is your rsn? My rsn is _____" But I'm gonna show this to Dave since he's the current Head OMM and what else is that rank good for?

As the middleman, you need to be vigilant and double - even triple - check the RSN as you go through the trade screens. That's the responsibility you take on as the middleman; ensuring the trade goes smoothly. Which wasn't done in this case. Take it as a lesson, always document and triple check your trades.

Full refund should take place.
