Imposter

I was middlemanning a trade and one of the users scammed the other by impostering me. All I have is his IP address.

Please run it against the site and ban him if he has any accounts.

 

Explain this more thoroughly, please. This, to me, appears to be middleman negligence. If the user reports this as a scam, it would be on you.

 

Two users asked me to middleman a swap.
Before the trade began one of them left briefly to register an account on the forums.
During this time he created another group chat with the victim and stole his gold.






I confirmed the group chat/my skype by pm:




Anyway since the trade never actually began he didn't tell me his forum username that's why I only have his IP.

let me know if you require any more information.

 

Also please clarify if you still believe me to be negligent in this situation as I believe I did due diligence in regards to confirming the group chat/my skype.
