Leaking personal information about a member, where do we draw the line? This is clearly violating the rules:

• Disclosure of Others' Personal Information: Posting information such as private emails/MSNs, private Skype accounts, Facebook accounts, addresses, phone numbers, private photos, etc. of someone other than yourself without explicit consent of that person will result in up to a 1 month ban regardless of whether or not the information is publicly available

It's ridiculous that he was allowed to post this type of thread. It should be removed and he should be punished accordingly.

 

I think you're missing where the mod already handled it and said nothing about it?

I don't think you understand the consequences of your actions. You could have potentially ruined this guy's life. You made him a target, and there is no proof in the "report" of any scam or if that's even him.

You simply posted "publicly available information". It's obviously a violation of the rule that we have intact. One of the main points of the rule is to reduce a huge potential problem that you just may have caused.

Quit having the attitude that you've done nothing wrong when you clearly have.

Facts is banned for scamming, he does not qualify as a protected user under that rule and the information that IHQ provided is helpful in catching him if he is ban evading or tries to scam someone again. Now in case I'm wrong here I've temporarily hidden the thread and will discuss with Richard. If I'm mistaken, I'll keep the thread removed for good
