    • In June 2019, I sold a Fortnite account through Playerauctions. 3+ months later, the buyer filed a dispute, so I recovered the account. I did not try to argue the dispute in any capacity, yet to my surprise, Playerauctions still ruled in my favor. At this point, I should have returned the account (& I realize that now). However, I was bitter/angry, and didn't do so.
    • Fast-forward and I've applied for a moderator position. This situation came to light, and TySimpson approached me about it. Upon doing so, I handled everything horribly & came off as, unapologetic, and quite frankly - just flat out rude.
    • Ty & Video created a report against me for off-site blackhat (completely warranted, I messed up) & I received a ban.
    • Since then, I've been in contact with the buyer through Playerauctions PM system & returned the account to him. I generally do not like to hand off creation email/recovery email, etc. when selling accounts whether it be OSRS, RS3, FN, or any other game. However, I also sent the buyer the Fortnite/Epic Games creation email info so that he'll be the only one who has any sort of ownership / recovery capability.
    • This was my first ever report, ban, or anything else of the like. It was something new for me.. and it certainly sucks. I've had a lot of time to reflect on my actions.

First and foremost, I need to publicly apologize to @TySimpson. I did not treat you the right way when you came to me, and for that I'm incredibly sorry. You're a good guy, who works hard, and deserves respect. I'm generally a very kind and caring person, and never intended on being a jerk.. but I was. For that, I'm sincerely sorry. I hope you can find a way to forgive me.

Secondly, I'd like to apologize to the staff team. Applying for a moderator position & wasting your time while having an outstanding poorly managed trade was wrong. All of you work incredibly hard & tirelessly. I had prided myself in being a report-free / issue-free, "only bringing good to Sythe" member of the community for so many years, and this situation has really humbled me.

I'm also very apologetic to the buyer as I did not handle the situation professionally or morally correct in any fashion of the term.

I'm a month shy of 13 years on Sythe. This was my first offense in all of those year, and the way I've felt since my ban (and since I won that PA dispute, quite frankly) is awful. This site and its community have been with me for nearly half of my life. I would never do anything, intentionally, to jeopardize that. I promise all of you that something like this will never happen again.
