If you could go back in time, would you?

I would go back in time, to before runescape did the event for party hats and I would of collected hundreds of those fuckers and would of made bank irl years later.

 

Is this what the general discussion section has come to?



Obviously if somebody had the opportunity to go back in time to put time/money into something that would make them rich they would.

 

Not everyone would go back in time for the same reason as me.

I would limit this question on myself that I can't go back to make myself richer.

I've actually asked myself this question. I thought medieval would be awesome. But then I think, no cereal, no toilet paper, no AC, etc etc. Fk that I like where I'm at. I would stay here or go into the future if I could.

 

No AC would be the worst, winter > summer

 

Yeah buddy. I a winter > summer guy too. I can't handle being warm. Imagine being back in time in the scorching heat with no escape.

Surely if everyone had the opportunity to invest in x or hoard y then they would alter the course of things and other avenues would prove to be more profitable?

 

I think everyone would just to make an assured profitable investment.

Yeah, I think I'd probably invent the pc, windows, facebook, google, amazon.. And so on, I'd probably also create runescape.

I probably wouldn't stock up on partyhats for a few thousand pounds :\

Sure I'd love to go back on time for monetary gain, but I've got a number of wrongs I'd like to rectify
. I'd do a lot of things differently presented with the opportunity.

Yes, I would have tried to prevent myself going to the United states. Despite my families success the U.S is nothing like Europe, having met all the people I met now though I probably wouldn't want to go back in time as they wouldn't exist in my life but havent I not met them definitely would avoid U.S.

 

Yes, I would. I'd try to prevent events that happened in my life for the better, and probably invest in profitable companies.

 

Since there isn't a limit on what we can do after travelling I would probably travel back to around 1880s, proceed to murder the ancestors of Hitler, Osama bin Laden, rae sremmurd, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. Then focus on making sure Coke & McDonalds never existed because lets be honest its straight shit. And lastly make any surefire profitable investments and fund it into creating the internet and getting Runescape started in the 60s, fuck the moon landing.

 

Yeah but not primarily for financial reasons, I'd fix all the mistakes I've made first off.

 

I for one, am someone who believes in the Butterfly effect. Even the slightest changes would change my life DRASTICALLY, good or bad, I don't know. I'm not sure if I would risk that. I may not be the "best off" right now in life, but I can't complain. I'm breathing, I have all my limbs, I have a roof over my head, I eat decently well. I feel like if you would go back in the time change the past, you should instead, use that and make a change for the FUTURE.

 

It would have to depend on what situation was occurring, to which I'd want to go back in time, say for instance if I had made a mistake, and wanted to go back in time to correct the mistake, then perhaps... But I don't see any other reason to go back, life is what it is, rather go to the future.
